Need breakfast?

We highly recommend

  • Wattleseed Barn Café in town. Their egg and bacon rolls are legendary! Remember to take your 2-for-1 coffee card for a warm send-off treat.

  • Barking Cow is another cosy cafe with delicious food and friendly staff.

  • Big Apple Bakery in Donnybrook is our favourite bakery stop on the way back to Perth (45 minutes from Bridgetown on the right).

Stops on way to Perth
  • Golden Valley Tree Park, Balingup
    (45 mins from Serenity Gully)
This stunning 60-hectare park is WA’s largest arboretum and a peaceful spot to stretch your legs. Wander among rare and colourful trees from around the world—autumn is particularly breathtaking with its fiery foliage. A perfect picnic or photo stop on your way north.

  • Gnomesville, Ferguson Valley
    (1 hour from Serenity Gully)
A quirky WA favourite! Gnomesville is home to thousands of gnomes nestled in the Ferguson Valley bushland. Bring a gnome to add to the collection or just enjoy the playful atmosphere and creative displays. It's a light-hearted stop just waiting for great fun photo ops.

  • The Crooked CarrotMyalup
    (1.5 hours from Serenity Gully)
For lunch or a snack: Located just off the Forrest Highway, about halfway to Perth. It's quirky, family-friendly, and has a delicious farm-style café menu with fresh produce and amazing coffee. Plus, there's a market and gift shop worth a look.
